Who I am
A little bit about me
Hi, and welcome! My name is Ken Krohn, and I’m a photographer who enjoys exploring our sometimes strange, but always fascinating world.
Growing up in the desert of Southern Arizona, I came to appreciate and love expansive vistas bounded by carpets of desert flora, walls of majestic mountains, and a ceiling of crystal blue sky that transformed into an endless starry night as the hours flew relentlessly by.
I only recently discovered photography as an artform. But in that short time it has captured much of my heart and soul. Hopefully, my photography reflects and expresses the somewhat “different” perspective I tend to have toward life in general.
Although somewhat inadvertently, I have come to agree with the observation made by Vincent van Gogh:
“Normality is a paved road: It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it.”
I encourage you to join me in walking the road less traveled, and to smell the roses along the way.

What I do
A little bit about my work
Landscapes and the beauty of nature within them are captivating. They change dramatically and endlessly as wind and water, day and night, summer and winter, weave seamlessly through them.
The intersection of the creations of man with the creation of God is also fascinating. As a photographer, I try to capture in images that which so captivates and fascinates me.
I hope that you not only enjoy what you see here, but are moved by the grandeur and diversity of nature I aspire to portray in my work . . . so that you may become as captivated and fascinated as I.
